The slogan "Abki Baar 400 Paar" (This time, crossing 400) was coined by Manish Muradiya, a BJP worker from Chhattisgarh, and has since been adopted by the party as its official campaign slogan.

While the slogan has been ridiculed by the opposition and questioned by some analysts, the BJP has remained confident in its ability to achieve this ambitious goal. The party points to its strong performance in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, where it won 303 seats, and its subsequent victories in state assembly elections.

However, the BJP faces a number of challenges in the 2024 elections, including the rising cost of living, unemployment, and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The party's performance in upcoming state assembly elections, such as those in Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan, will also be closely watched as an indicator of its chances in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
